How PCT Services May Be Delivered
-
Where appropriate, clinicians may meet with participants within their home, community, supported living environment, or another setting relevant to the participant’s goals and functional needs.
-
Appointments may occur within education, employment, or vocational settings when direct assessment, consultation, intervention, or environmental observation is clinically relevant and appropriate consent has been provided.
-
Some appointments, consultations, reviews, training sessions, and information-gathering activities may be completed through telehealth where this is clinically appropriate.
In-person assessment may still be recommended when the clinician needs to directly observe activities, environments, equipment, risks, or support requirements.
-
With appropriate consent, PCT may collaborate with family members, support workers, support coordinators, educators, employers, allied health professionals, medical practitioners, and other relevant people.
